MAURER Betoflex®
MAURER Betoflex® is a high-quality, cold-processable polymer concrete for anchoring expansion joints. Particularly when repairing and replacing expansion joints, anchoring with Betoflex® can significantly reduce the construction time and cost. It is generally sufficient to create a recess depth corresponding to the pavement structure.
Designs: D1-B, XC1-B, XL1-B, K30-B, K50-B, transition area and supporting ribs

Prevention of standing water – flushing opening in expansion joint
To prevent standing water on the carriageway, a flushing opening can be installed at the lowest point of the expansion joint.
- Increased road safety in wet weather
- Water is efficiently removed
- Water can be routed directly to general bridge drainage system
- Lower maintenance costs
- Improved sustainability
MAURER Modular Bridging System (MMBS)
Due to the necessary lane closures, maintenance work on existing expansion joint systems can often only be carried out at night. Therefore, a temporary safe covering of the expansion joint with the MMBS (MAURER Modular Bridging System) during the day is necessary. This can then be opened quickly and easily at night.
- Use when replacing or retrofitting expansion joints
- Controllable traffic management through temporary and section-specific use
- Modular safe design
- Preventing traffic congestion during rush hour phases.
