Pot bearings

An elastomeric pad is contained in a steel pot. A pressure plate presses down on it from above, but this plate can only rotate to a limited extent in relation to the lower pot (< 0.02 rad). The load capacity is generally limited to approx. 50 MN. Displacements can be adjusted by a sliding panel at the top.
